We’re thrilled to soon celebrate 5 amazing years at Savorworks! As part of this milestone, we’re excited to introduce Cooper, the first coffee from our Number Five Series. This remarkable coffee from Ratnagiri Estate in Karnataka uniquely captures aromatic rum notes that enhance its origin flavors. The rum aging process beautifully complements the anaerobic fermentation, showcasing the deep connection between coffee and distillery cultures. This collaboration represents a celebration of shared knowledge and craftsmanship. The ripe coffee cherries undergo fermentation in pressurized sealed tanks, producing distinctive acids that elevate their character. They are then slowly dried on raised beds for 29 days before being aged in rum barrels for 89 days, resulting in a rich and nuanced, unforgettable experience.
Crafted by our head roaster, Baninder Singh, Cooper showcases intense rum flavors that elegantly dance on the palate while preserving a delightful fruitiness through expert roasting techniques. Savorworks invites you to enjoy it black, whether hot or iced, allowing the vibrant tasting notes of crisp, sweet amaretto cherries as red cherries soaked in amaretto to shine through.
